
Holding the IX National Championship "Young Professionals" (WorldSkills RUSSIA ) in Ufa will have a positive impact on the economy of Bashkiria in the form of attracting young personnel to manufacturing industries and increasing competencies in various fields. Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Belarus Andrei Nazarov said this at a meeting of the organizing committee of the event.
“The Young Professionals Championship plays an important role both for the economy of our republic and for obtaining professional workers, which we really need today. Thanks to these competitions, participants will be able to improve their skills. As a result, they will be able to work better. I am sure that we will feel the effect of holding the WorldSkills Championship in the form of young professional personnel in the coming years,” Nazarov said.
The first participants of the Young Professionals championship will arrive in Ufa on August 21 from Yakutia. In total, 1.8 thousand contestants, 1.5 thousand experts, 30 thousand spectators and 6 thousand schoolchildren are expected to participate, for whom a career guidance zone will be organized. Bashkiria will be represented by 280 contestants in 102 competencies.
For those arriving from other regions, there are accreditation points at the Ufa airport, at the railway station and at the main competition site - in the Park of Young Professionals. For those who have expired PCR test results, FAPs are organized at all points where you can take an express analysis and update a certificate of absence of covid-19 . In general, all measures will be taken at the event to prevent the spread of CORONAVIRUS.
“For the safety of participants and guests of the event, a special headquarters has been created to coordinate medical, sanitary and epidemiological support. They will conduct laboratory tests there and make sure that everything goes without a threat to the HEALTH of participants and guests of the competition, ”the press service of the government said after the meeting of the organizing committee.
