The Department of Land and Property Relations of the Ufa City Hall (UZiO) is looking for contractors to develop scientific and design documentation for the preservation of two cultural heritage sites on October Revolution Street. The initial maximum price of contracts in total is 4.01 million rubles. The results of the auction will be summed up on April 15.

For the development of a draft design for the preservation of the house of V.A. Petunina on October Revolution Street, 15 are ready to allocate up to 1.66 million rubles. For the project on the Demidovs' house (October Revolution, 57/1) - up to 2.35 million rubles. Both contracts will be financed from the municipal treasury. According to the procurement documentation, the work must be completed by December 25, 2022.

Projects for the preservation of houses will be developed on the instructions of the Bashkultnaslediya. The responsibilities of the winners of the auctions will include historical-archival and bibliographic, technical and historical-architectural research, as well as the development of a project for the restoration and adaptation of objects. The executors of the contracts will have to obtain a positive conclusion of the state historical and cultural expertise for the projects and coordinate them with the Bashkultnasledie.

As RBC Ufa reported, at the end of January, the UZiO decided on contractors for the development of draft designs for the preservation of four more architectural monuments on October Revolution Street: the Averyanovs' mansion, the Chizheva's house, the Shamovs' estate with a fence and a gate "and one of the houses of Chuvildin and Olshevskaya. The total initial maximum price of contracts was 7 million rubles, according to the results of the auction, it fell to 3.9 million. Three contracts were awarded to the Arkhtamga Expert Design Bureau in Sibay, and one to the Rona Research and Production Enterprise from the Orenburg Region.

Earlier, the mayor's office reported that they plan to sell some of the architectural monuments of the October Revolution to private investors for restoration and further use for commercial purposes. The street itself is planned to be repaired by the anniversary of Ufa, which will be celebrated in 2024, the reconstruction was estimated at 1.37 billion rubles, the restoration of buildings located along the street - at 5 billion rubles.

The Demidov House is the oldest stone building in Ufa. The mansion was erected in 1770 by Evdokim Demidov, a miner. The building has survived to this day in a slightly rebuilt form, of particular value is the original stucco molding in the Baroque style.

The Petunin House is a two-story stone house, in the last years before the revolution, belonged to the merchant Vasily Petunin, was built approximately in the 1880s.
