
JSC "Zhytomyr Butter Plant", which produces ice cream, butter and spreads under the TM "Rud", intends to change the main type of economic activity in MILK processing, butter and cheese production to the production of ice cream.
According to the information disclosure system of the National Commission for Securities and the Stock Market of Ukraine (NSMSC), the company is convening an extraordinary meeting of shareholders on November 11, at which they will decide on the issue of changing the main type of activity according to the classifier of types of economic activity (KVED), Interfax-Ukraine reports.
“Change the main type of economic activity of Zhytomyr Butter Plant JSC from 10:51 “Milk processing, butter and cheese production” to 10:52 “Ice cream production”. Type of economic activity 10.51 “Milk processing, production of vegetable oil and cheese” to be defined as non-core”, - indicated in the agenda of the meeting, proposed for approval by the shareholders of the company.
As reported, Zhytomyr Butter Plant in 2020 increased its net profit by 2.6% compared to 2019 - up to UAH 134.36 million, its total assets decreased by 12.4% - up to UAH 1.69 billion, and retained earnings - by 10.7%, up to UAH 1.22 billion.
According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities and Individual Entrepreneurs, the ultimate beneficiary of Zhytomyr Butter Plant JSC is Petr Rud (64.89% of the company's shares) and Oksana Vivsyk (34.34%).
The Zhytomyr Butter Plant was created as a result of the reconstruction of the Zhytomyr MEAT Processing Plant in 1981. JSC "Zhytomyr Butter Plant" began to produce products since 1998 under the TM "Rud".
According to the company's website, up to 150 tons of ice cream (about 600,000 servings) are produced daily on the Straightline production line from 300 tons of milk.
According to TM Rud, the manufacturer produces about a hundred types of ice cream, frozen vegetables, fruits, semi-finished products and dough, sweet cream spreads and sweet curds, and also supplies its HoReCa products to Ukrainian catering establishments.
