August 25,
MINSK. President of Belarus
Today ALEXANDER LUKASHENKO visited the field of the Ostroshitsa farm in the Logoisk district. However, the main topic of conversation was not the current state of affairs in the countryside or the progress of the harvest, but a significant date - 25 years since the decision on the development of domestic grain harvester construction was made in Belarus with the personal participation of the
HEAD of the Belarusian state, BelTA has learned.
On a significant date for the head of state On August 13, in the Rogachev region, the general designer of the scientific and technical center for combine-building of Gomselmash OJSC Sergey Fedorovich, demonstrating another novelty of the enterprise. “He is counting down when we started a revolution in combine construction. 25 years ago, on August 24, we decided on the field whether there should be a Belarusian combine or not. pipes to collect grain," Alexander Lukashenko recalled at the time.
The decision made a quarter of a century ago was a difficult one. Opinions were voiced to abandon the production of their own cleaning equipment and buy
it, for example, in Germany. Now in Belarus there is a whole line of similar world-class equipment that is already competing with the same German ones.
The President suggested that we think about meeting somewhere in the field and stake out this date.
There was nothing for people to eat. How about without bread? And now, less than two weeks later, the head of state "The event is somewhat symbolic. But it is dedicated to a very important stage in the development of our state. Not even agriculture. We remember well when people had nothing to eat, people had to be fed. And without bread, how? It so happened that there was some kind of grain in the field, but there was nothing to harvest it with. And then serious decisions were made in terms of how to harvest the grain," Aleksandr Lukashenko noted.
The line of equipment brought to the attention of the President included both ultra-modern novelties from Gomselmash and a model of the very first combine - KZR-10 Polesie-Rotor. "We need to take it out of circulation and put it on a pedestal - in a museum. It all started with this. And if you look - it's beautiful, and you can't say that it is ancient," the head of state noted. The President lingered for a few minutes at this combine and, leaning on the equipment, remembered how it all began: “A quarter of a century has passed. I proceeded from the fact that something needs to be harvested. But this is not the main thing. harvesters. And since you couldn’t do anything better then, you stopped there.”
Dreamed about that we will start making our own combines. And the dream came true
Alexander Lukashenko noted: nevertheless, budgetary, which was especially important for farms in those years. “There were no losses. For me, it was the most important thing that the combine was moving, harvesting grain. In the end, it was not even worse than the German GDR combines (produced by the German Democratic Republic, which existed in Central Europe in 1949-1990. - Note by BelTA ). I worked for them at the time and saw that he (Belarusian combine. - Approx. BelTA) harvests no worse. Therefore, such a decision was made. I understood that we would learn how to do it. We had to start, "he said .
“We can do everything, especially now. The world is interdependent. Today, if you don’t know how to do it, tomorrow you will learn: you bought something, copied something, improved it…,” the Belarusian leader emphasized. their harvesters. Here is a dream come true".
The main thing is not to be afraid to get down to business. Emphasis on import substitution The President is sure that the main thing is not to be afraid to take on a task and not to think that something will not work out. First of all, in matters of import substitution. And a vivid example of this is domestic harvesters, most of which are exported. “When the decision was made, it was a catastrophe in general. They made a decision - they created a combine. It was they who accomplished a feat,” the head of state noted. “Gomselmash has become different, and people are a cut above. We supply equipment all over the world. a lot of things to do. But it doesn't get any easier."
Earlier this month, a new self-propelled grain harvester GH810 (KZS-3321) was demonstrated to the President in the Rogachev district. And this time they showed, among other things, a car with an automatic driving system, where intelligent vision technology was used: cameras and modern automation allow the combine operator to practically not be distracted by driving and monitor only the quality of harvesting.
Alexander Lukashenko was also presented with a small copy of the very first domestic grain harvester.
In general, for 25 years, the domestic grain harvesting machine building has managed to achieve a lot. Today there are 11 models of equipment in 75 modifications. Another 7 new models will soon be put into production. According to Alexander Novikov, General
DIRECTOR of Gomselmash, if last year the holding produced a little more than 1,800 self-propelled vehicles, then in the first half of the year - almost 1,000 units of equipment. “We plan to produce 2,170 vehicles by the end of the year. We have already formed a package of orders by the middle of next year,” he informed the President.
Alexander Novikov told the head of state about the prospects for the development of the enterprise, the improvement of existing models of combine harvesters and the development of new ones.
Alexander Lukashenko recalled his demand to be more actively engaged in import substitution, although Gomselmash has done a lot in this direction: over the past five years, the import intensity of production has been halved.
"This must be done. Otherwise, we will make iron, and we buy smart components - hydraulics, electronics - in the West. We must do it ourselves," the President stressed.
On the field of the Ostroshitsa farm, the head of state got acquainted with samples of grain harvesters, other agricultural machinery and import-substituting products (components for grain harvesters produced by Belarusian enterprises). The sowing units of Lidagroprommash OJSC, which is part of the Gomselmash holding, and the AMKODOR holding, were also demonstrated here.
A fly in the ointment Alexander Lukashenko could not ignore the negative aspects, noting the facts of mismanagement of machinery and harvest during the harvest. "We know how to do everything, but this carelessness, indiscipline, lack of performance is a disaster. We must end with this," the head of state warned harshly.
He also drew the officials' attention to the issues of restoring order in some agricultural organizations, the work to bring lagging enterprises to the proper level. There are serious shortcomings in this regard, the head of state is sure.
The President was also interested in some aspects of the harvesting campaign, primarily in the Minsk region.
Not PR, but an experiment for the sake of: watermelons, potatoes, herbs, rapeseed and the purest MILK Today, during a working trip, Alexander Lukashenko mentioned and on which he does not just grow certain crops, but experiments - he personally checks the achievements of Belarusian scientists. "Watermelons are not because some kind of PR. These are experiments. I started with one Dutch variety. They brought me before, they put pieces in the kitchen, I determined the two best ones. Belarusian is already quite good. And once, when I started doing this , said: the time will come, we will cultivate it," the head of state said.
By the way, traditionally, according to the order of the President, the harvest of sweet berries goes to orphanages and the elderly.
“Today, our watermelon is no different from what Emomali Sharipovich Rahmon sent me (President of Tajikistan. - Note by BelTA). And experts say that it is even more useful for us,” Alexander Lukashenko assured.
He noted that he has exactly the same approach with respect to other crops, such as new varieties of potatoes. “Then I harvest and see the result. The potatoes that our scientists make are seeds (I sow the super elite) - it even tastes different. Firstly, it is clean - it is sown for the first time, it has not yet gained any infection, according to the technology is cultivated. And this is how I observe what scientists give to producers. Similarly, rapeseed, herbs...", the head of state said.
He also noted that his small farm has the best milk: "Of course, there are 13 cows. It's not huge. But it's the purest milk." Alexander Lukashenko said that if people ask, then part of the milk received is given to local villagers.
“That is, I experiment, see what I need. Because feeding people is the number one issue,” the Belarusian leader summed up.
