A resident of Bashkiria was convicted of giving bribes to an employee of a veterinary station

In 2019-2020, a man earned money by buying cattle for further resale. To do this, he needed the appropriate veterinary certificates that confirmed the safety and quality. To receive them, he transferred money from the deputy HEAD of the district veterinary station, but the proper procedures were not carried out at all. The total amount of bribes amounted to almost 160 thousand rubles.

According to the press service of the prosecutor's office of Bashkiria, the COURT sentenced the man to seven years of probation with a trial period of three years. Earlier, an employee of the veterinary station also received a suspended sentence for taking bribes.
