Yaroslavl region targets 2 billion chicken eggs

Poultry farming in the Yaroslavl region continues to actively develop, which is confirmed by the high rates of chicken egg production . According to the Minister of Agriculture and Consumer Market, Dmitry Fomin, the Yaroslavl region ranks first in the Central Federal District and second in the country in terms of egg production. The products of local companies are successfully sold both on the Russian market and exported.

The Danilovskaya poultry farm is highly efficient, increasing the production of chicken eggs by 57% and the number of birds by 35% compared to last year. There is also a significant increase in production and poultry stock at enterprises in the Yaroslavl and Myshkinsky districts.

In the next two years, it is planned to implement large investment projects in the field of poultry farming in the Uglich, Rybinsk and Breitovsky municipal districts. Governor Mikhail Evraev has already signed agreements on this. 

For example, the Uglich poultry farm plans to modernize its poultry complex with an investment of 115 million rubles. The goal is to increase the production of quail products and create 20 new jobs.

The Volzhanin poultry farm is going to create a site for pelleting feed and carry out the second stage of modernization of the egg processing complex. The amount of investment will be 218.1 million rubles, and the number of jobs created will be 12.

Yaroslavl Broiler, as part of a new investment agreement with an investment of 1 billion rubles, will expand its capabilities for receiving, cleaning and storing grain crops. This project will provide another 10 new jobs.

It is planned to modernize the Breitovskaya poultry farm with an investment of 150 million rubles. The project investor is the Prozorovo company. The project provides for the creation of at least 110 new jobs. The poultry farm plans to raise more than 2.5 million heads of poultry annually and produce more than 4 million tons of MEAT.
