1.5 tons of hazardous meat were seized in Udmurtia.

Main violations

  • Lack of mandatory labeling (production date, expiration date)

  • Violation of storage conditions

  • Detection  of Salmonella  in Laboratory Samples

In total, specialists tested 333 MEAT samples. The results of the tests revealed:

  • 27 orders to eliminate violations were issued

  • Nine declarations of conformity have been suspended.

Consequences for violators

Substandard products were seized and destroyed, and sellers and manufacturers were held accountable.
