In Syzran, on May 4, 2023, quarantine was introduced due to outbreaks of bovine leukemia , which were recorded in two private farms. The first is located on Novaya Slobodka Street, and the second on Khabarovskaya Street.

Restrictions due to an outbreak of leukemia were also established in the village of Kashpir, also belonging to Syzran, where the focus of the disease was identified on the territory of a personal subsidiary plot on Lenin Street.

Also, quarantine was introduced in the village of Nazarovka, Klyavlinsky district.
