On holidays in the Bryansk region, more than 27 thousand tons of products received by the Russian Federation were subjected to veterinary and phytosanitary control

From May 1 to May 10 this year The Office of the Rosselkhoznadzor for the Bryansk, Smolensk and Kaluga regions at multilateral checkpoints on the state border, veterinary and phytosanitary posts on the administrative border with the Republic of Belarus, as well as temporary storage warehouses located on the territory of the Bryansk region, controlled more than 1.5 thousand batches of various products weighing more than 27 thousand tons.

In particular, the phytosanitary inspectors of the Service carried out control of more than 1.2 batches of regulated goods imported into the territory of the Russian Federation, with a total weight of more than 20.6 thousand tons. Mostly through the territory of the region, fresh vegetables and fruits, seed and planting material were supplied from Turkey, Serbia, Moldova, North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Republic of Belarus and a number of other states.

In addition, veterinary control in the Bryansk region was carried out in relation to more than 360 batches of meat, dairy products and feed with a total weight of more than 6 thousand tons, as well as 1.3 million hatching eggs imported from the Republic of Belarus, Turkey, Serbia, Moldova, as well as EU countries.

According to the results of the control, products that do not meet the requirements of phytosanitary and veterinary legislation are prohibited from being imported into Russia.

After the specialists of the Rosselkhoznadzor Department completed all the prescribed control measures, all cargoes transported in compliance with the norms of the current legislation were sent to recipients from the regions of the Russian Federation.
