
This topic was discussed today at a meeting chaired by Secretary of State - Deputy Minister of Agriculture of RUSSIA Maxim Uvaidov with representatives of executive authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation. Mordovia was represented at the meeting by the Acting Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Mordovia Vasily Sokolov, who said that today all measures aimed at promptly identifying the circulation of the bird flu pathogen and preventing its spread are being implemented in full. Poultry farms observe a closed type and no-walk regime for keeping poultry. Explanatory work is being carried out among owners of private farms. Monitoring studies on avian influenza, including in wild fauna, have been organized in the republic.
