Turkey meat processing plant launched in Ingushetia

The Yuzhny poultry complex, with the assistance of the republican authorities, launched a turkey MEAT processing plant with a daily capacity of up to 40 tons in the Malgobek district of Ingushetia, the press service of the HEAD of the region reports.

“A production facility has been launched at the Yuzhny poultry complex, on the basis of which the enterprise will produce processed turkey meat with a volume of 20 to 40 tons daily according to the standards of the international halal brand,” the report says.

The enterprise produces carcasses, turkey breast fillets, also provides for the production of by-products, semi-finished products, products of deep processing: sausages, sausages, sausages.

it is noted that the construction of Yuzhny Poultry Complex LLC began in 2015. The cost of the investment project is 3.8 billion rubles, it provides for the creation of a vertically integrated poultry complex for the industrial production and processing of turkey meat, which will create about 500 jobs.

The poultry complex consists of 36 production facilities: 30 poultry houses, an incubator, a feed mill, a slaughter shop with a deep meat processing shop, and a waste processing shop.

The head of Ingushetia, Mahmud-Ali Kalimatov, noted that this is a very significant enterprise for the economy of the region, since taxes from profits will go to the republican budget. “Next year, the production of the poultry complex is planned to be increased to 10,000 tons per year. The enterprise has real capacities to increase production volumes,” he stressed.
