Support of the regional competence center

The project is implemented with the support of the Regional Competence Center of the Republic of Bashkortostan, which plays a key role in training employees and introducing new working methods. Over the course of three months, the plant's working group underwent training in nine programs, including process mapping, the 5S system, production analysis, SMED (short-term changeover method), OEE (overall equipment effectiveness) and autonomous maintenance. These methods are aimed at optimizing processes and minimizing losses, which ultimately leads to increased productivity.

Interim results and forecasts

At the moment, the results of the project implementation are already demonstrating positive dynamics. Director of the Ufa Meat-Canning Plant Alexey Mochalov noted that based on the results of the first three months, productivity growth of 25-30% can be expected. This became possible thanks to detailed action plans that cover not only the sausage packaging area, but the entire production process.

Improvement of logistics and production processes

Key aspects of the project were improvement of raw material logistics, modification of the packaging line and implementation of the 5S system. The 5S system, which includes sorting, systematization, cleanliness, standardization and discipline, helps to create an organized workspace, which in turn helps to increase productivity.

In addition, the introduction of production analysis and quick changeover allows to significantly reduce equipment downtime, which also has a positive effect on overall efficiency. Standardized work and flexible loading of the site provide the ability to quickly adapt to changes in demand for products.

Replication of successful practices

The next step in the project will be the replication of successful practices to other product lines of the plant. This will not only increase production volumes, but also improve the quality of the products. It is important to note that the Ufa Meat-Canning Plant is one of the largest producers of meat products in the Republic of Bashkortostan, producing about 12 thousand tons per year. The range includes sausages , canned goods and semi-finished products, most of which are manufactured according to GOST, which emphasizes high quality standards.

State support for business

The federal project "Labor Productivity" is a set of state support measures aimed at increasing the efficiency and competitiveness of Russian enterprises. Project participants receive free expert support, access to digital services and preferential financial instruments, which makes it attractive for business.

Thus, Ufa Meat-Canning Plant demonstrates an example of successful implementation of lean technologies, which not only contributes to increased productivity, but also strengthens the company's position in the market. In the context of constant changes and challenges faced by the meat processing industry, such initiatives become the key to successful development and stability.
