Growth and Dynamics of Beef Liver Imports to Russia: Analysis for 2022-2024

In the period from January to August 2024 , the Russian market received 20.29 thousand tons of this product, which is 3.4% higher than in the same period of 2023. Argentina was again the leading supplier with a supply volume of 12.64 thousand tons. Foreign supplies were also made from Brazil (3.47 thousand tons), Paraguay (2.19 thousand tons) and Uruguay (1.99 thousand tons).
In terms of prices, Argentina beef liver was priced at around usd 963.0 per ton in 2023 , down 38.9% year-on-year. As of early 2024, Argentina liver prices fell to USD 774.6 per ton, down 26.4% year-on-year. Meanwhile, Brazil liver prices increased by 12.7% to USD 1,447.9 per ton in the first half of 2024.
