Rosselkhoznadzor in Dagestan revealed violations of the procedure for maintaining anthrax cattle burial grounds

Considering that soil contaminated with anthrax spores remains a source of infection for many years, the accessibility of burial sites for animals that died from anthrax creates a threat of the spread of the disease; accordingly, measures to fence off anthrax burial sites should be taken immediately.

For violations of veterinary rules for the movement, storage, processing and disposal of biological waste, approved by order of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation dated October 26, 2020 No. 626, against officials of the administrations of rural settlements. Alexandria and village Oguzer, Kizlyar district, protocols on administrative offenses were drawn up under Part 3 of Art. 10.8 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, orders were issued to eliminate violations of veterinary sanitary requirements and rules for ensuring the biological security of objects.

Information about the activities carried out was sent to the environmental prosecutor's office.
