Poultry farm "Tulskaya" completed the implementation of an investment project to expand production capacity

The company was among those who managed to implement their investment projects without any risks - even despite the difficult economic situation.

The need to increase competitiveness in a saturated market of food producers requires constant modernization of production. That is why Tulskaya Poultry Farm JSC is increasing production to 1.5 million eggs per day after the opening of new poultry houses and a sorting shop.

The construction of a modern complex was supposed to be an investment agreement signed in 2019 at the Russian Investment Forum between the management of the poultry farm and Governor Alexei Dyumin. Then it was said that the expansion of production capacities would allow the enterprise to increase volumes to 467 million pieces per year, but the poultry farm does not plan to stop there and increases them to 550 million.

“If earlier we could accommodate about 75,000 chickens in one poultry house, then in the new one this number has grown to 280,000. That is almost seven times more. A feature of these poultry houses is the use of smaller areas, while the efficiency is higher. Plus, we have modern, high-quality equipment that allows us to work more productively,” said Georgy Tkachenko, commercial director of Tulskaya Poultry Farm JSC.

Five new poultry houses, in addition to those already built, have already been put into operation; in addition, the company is completing the construction of a hangar with a larger capacity for grain.

The implementation of an investment project of this magnitude is always the creation of new jobs; in this way, the socio-economic problems of municipalities are solved, and the level of unemployment is reduced. Now, according to Georgy Tkachenko, the staff of the Tulskoy poultry farm has grown by almost 50% - this is more than a hundred people. Employment at the enterprise is a social package, decent wages and bonuses, including in the form of own products.

Alexey Dyumin has repeatedly emphasized that the development of agriculture in the Tula region is largely due to the introduction of modern technologies and the implementation of new projects. The Tulskaya poultry farm continues to modernize its production, moreover, it has become one of the last enterprises in the region included in the federal program “Labor Productivity”: in a relatively short period of time and under Western sanctions, the Tula enterprise managed to achieve good results.
