At the moment, the fate of the animals is being determined, which is very alarming, since pig farming is an important part of the region's economy. The damage from the incident has yet to be assessed, and experts are working on possible causes.
The following day, on January 20, a similar incident occurred at a poultry farm in the village of Studenok in the Zheleznogorsk district. The fire broke out in a one-story brick building, damaging 20 square meters of the roof. Fortunately, no casualties were found in this case. Rescue services quickly dealt with the fire, but the causes of the fire also remain questionable, and an investigation is currently underway.
These cases highlight the importance of taking additional safety measures on agricultural enterprises to prevent similar incidents in the future and protect both material assets and animals in human care.
