The largest Orenburg enterprise for slaughtering and cutting cattle - OrenBeef (Orenbiv LLC), according to the results of work in 2020, showed the largest losses in five years.
With a revenue of 4.1 billion rubles, the company's net losses reached more than 300 million rubles. In fairness, it must be added that over the past five years the company has never made a profit, each time reporting negative results in the “net profit” column. So, in 2019, the losses of Orenbiv amounted to 187 million rubles, and in 2018 - 246 million.
At the same time, the company's revenue is growing every year, it is traditionally one of the five largest agricultural companies in the region in terms of revenue.
Orenbiv LLC was established in 2010 by the large European holding Gruppo Kremonini, which is one of the EU leaders in the production of cattle MEAT. In the Orenburg village of Cherny Otrog, a modern meat-cutting shop was built from scratch. However, literally immediately the company faced problems with loading - it lacked raw materials.
As a result, in 2016 and 2017, Gruppo Kremonini created two more agricultural enterprises in the Saraktash region of the Orenburg region and the Fedorovsky region of Bashkortostan Agrosakmara and Agrosakmara Bashkiria, respectively, for the cultivation of cattle.
It is curious that the Bashkir enterprise showed a profit for 2018–2019 (albeit a small one, about 700 thousand rubles with a revenue of 12 million rubles). But the Saraktash enterprise Agrosakmara has not been profitable for a single year since its inception. Losses in 2020 amounted to 23.8 million rubles with revenue of 475 million rubles.
In addition, in January of this year, the structure of the owners of Orenbiv LLC changed. The share in this enterprise was acquired by a company from Saudi Arabia.
