Agricultural insurance in Bashkortostan: 214.5 million rubles to support agricultural producers in 2025

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture of the Republic Ilshat Fazrakhmanov noted that agricultural insurance receives state support from the federal and regional budgets, which helps offset up to half of its costs. 214.5 million rubles have been allocated for this purpose in 2025 .

Given the unpredictability of weather conditions, state-supported agricultural insurance is a key aspect of the successful operation of rural businesses. This year, 159 million rubles in subsidies were allocated for crop insurance in Bashkortostan, along with 56 million rubles to support livestock insurance. The region insures 53,000 head of cattle , 448,000 pigs, and 3.3 million poultry. All actions are carried out in accordance with Russian Federation regulations, which allow producers to reimburse up to 50% of the insurance premium paid under contracts with members of the United Association of Agricultural Insurers and the National Union of Agricultural Insurers.
