The presence of ASF in the Krasnodar bacon was not confirmed

The main interregional department of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance conducted a number of checks both at the site of MP Myastorg LLC and at the warehouses of buyers of the company's products, after reports of the detection of the ASF genome in products that were presumably produced from raw materials produced by the enterprise.

 The department took 48 samples for research in various laboratories. DNA of the ASF virus was not found, the department said. No restrictions were imposed on the area where LLC MP Myastorg operates - the territory is epizootically safe, the Southern Interregional Directorate of Rosselkhoznadzor reported .

In addition, LLC MP Myastorg, on a voluntary basis, under the control of the state veterinary service of the Krasnodar Territory, carried out a complete disinfection of production facilities.

It should be noted that the enterprise is under constant monitoring as part of the production control program.
