Production of livestock and poultry for slaughter increased by 16% in the Lipetsk region over the year

In  2024 , spring crops were sown on an area of ​​772.4 thousand hectares, which is 100 thousand less compared to 2023. The sowing of grains and legumes, with the exception of corn, also decreased - from 394.8 to 282.7 thousand hectares.

By the way, an increase in livestock production is also observed in other regions of the Black Earth Region. Thus, in the Voronezh region it increased by 1.4% to 244.3 thousand tons, in the Belgorod region - by 9% to 781.1, in the Oryol region - by 3.8% to 136.5, in the Kursk and Tambov regions - more than by 5% to 293.4 and 254 thousand tons, respectively.
