Ivanovo company "Appetit" produces artisan sausages

Deputy Director of Appetit LLC Galina Kuznetsova said that in 2023 the company received a gold medal at the international WorldFood exhibition for the Poleznaya sausage.

Appetit purchases raw materials for processing only from local producers under strict control. Quality is equally strictly controlled at all stages of production.

Chief technologist of Appetit LLC Nikolay Shevchenko demonstrated to the film crew the technological lines from the COMPO company ( Belarus ) and a simple but reliable dumpling machine made in Omsk, which has proven itself well. In addition to the equipment room, the Appetit company uses hand modeling to make dumplings and dumplings.

Currently, production capacity does not exceed three tons per shift, but in the future it is planned to increase it more than three times - up to 10 tons. Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Ivanovo Region Denis Cherkesov said that he has long been following the development of an enterprise with decent products. Over the past two years, the manufacturer has actively invested in new equipment, expanded its workshop area and product range, and increased sales.

In general, in the Ivanovo region over the past year, the production of sausages increased by 6.8%, and semi-finished meat products by 15.7%. In the region, there is a clear division into small and large sausage business , noted Denis Cherkesov. At the same time, it is small enterprises that are especially focused on high-quality raw materials and GOST standards, but it is difficult for them to compete with industry giants in the price segment. Over the past six years, the number of such workshops has increased. Appetit LLC is already counting on moving into the medium-sized business category and building its own plant.
