Agroeco Group of Companies Launches Osetrovsky Pig Farm

The MEAT production volume at this site will be 16.2 thousand tons in live weight. Here they will receive marbled pork from breeding animals of the Black Durock breed, specified the chairman of the board of directors of the Agroeko group of companies Vladimir Maslov. it will be sold in different regions of the country. The amount of investment in two new pig complexes of Agroeko, Osetrovsky and Gorokhovsky, is estimated at 5 billion rubles.

Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Voronezh Region Viktor Logvinov noted that they will meet the needsmeat processing plant in the Pavlovsky district, which is scheduled to reach its design capacity in 2024. The Osetrovsky pig farm employs more than 100 people. According to Nikolai Bykov, HEAD of the Verkhnemamonsky district, Agroeko projects help improve the social situation at the local level: if previously up to 300 people a year left the district, then last year an influx of 116 people was recorded.
