Chikskaya poultry farm: innovations of Russian quality

Chikskaya Poultry Farm JSC, built in the village of Prokudskoye, Kochenevsky District, more than half a century ago, still consistently supplies the Novosibirsk Region and the regions of the Siberian Federal District with fresh chicken eggs. The quality of the company's products is confirmed by obtaining a well-deserved right to use the trademark "100 Best Goods of Russia". In 2023, the factory began the reconstruction of production.
“For many years, despite all the economic and political upheavals, we have been consistently supplying Siberia with high-quality products,” says the DIRECTORJSC "Chikskaya Poultry Farm" Andrey Albertovich Biel. We carefully preserve the traditions of the labor collective. The time has come to start a major modernization of all production facilities. We started with energy. In the autumn of 2022, a block-modular boiler house was put into operation on a separate site of the parent flock. it works completely automatically. This made it possible to save about 5,000 cubic meters of gas per day in the winter. Convinced that it was very profitable, they began to build a modern boiler room for the entire factory, which has about 70 production facilities. We expect that such modernization of power facilities will save the company's expenses by about 20 million rubles a year, which is about 25 percent of all energy costs.
The main production equipment, which had worked at the factory for more than a dozen years, was also decided to be replaced with a more productive and technologically advanced one. Suppliers were searched both in the Russian Federation and abroad.
Sanctions restrictions of countries unfriendly to RUSSIA have seriously narrowed the choice of the best technologies. And at the factory, they nevertheless decided to rely on the Russian manufacturer of poultry equipment - RPO "Stimulus Group".
“Technological solutions that were offered to us by representatives of this domestic company did not suit us at first,” says Andrey Albertovich. - They showed them foreign analogues. And they agreed: Russian equipment cannot compete with European equipment. We offered Stimulus Group to make structural changes to its products, to significantly improve all the main characteristics. In order to eventually work on Russian equipment, we agreed to wait for its creation as long as it takes. This conversation took place in April, and already in June we were provided with equipment that meets the advanced world standards of poultry technology. And already in November of this year, we plan to receive the first new modules for the nursery hull.
Now the factory building is designed for 35 thousand birds. It is served by five specialists. After modernization, 75,000 birds will be housed in the building on the same area. And one person will be enough to serve it. Distribution of feed, maintenance of the microclimate, lighting, manure removal - everything will happen automatically.

“It is very important that the equipment is made entirely of Russian metal, Russian ventilation technologies, domestic electronics and software are used,” Andrey Bil notes. – The control computer was also developed by Russian engineers. No one else has such equipment. We will be the first. We believe that such a poultry complex will work reliably for at least a decade and a half. The advantages of our decision in favor of the Russian manufacturer are obvious: reliability in after-sales service, timely delivery of the necessary components and confidence in further modernization of production. As for the price , in comparison with imported analogues, the new equipment cost us 40 percent cheaper.
The Chik poultry farm produces 320 million eggs per year. Half is sold under the Bright Morning brand. These are eggs of excellent quality, which have earned the recognition of buyers of the largest retail chains in the country. In order to increase the production of such high-quality products, the factory plans to launch a fully automated egg store in the future.
“Unfortunately, today there are no Russian analogues of such equipment, corresponding to the world leaders in this industry,” Andrey Albertovich explains. - We intend to buy a sorting complex MOBA of the Dutch design. It processes up to 120 thousand eggs per hour. For comparison, the productivity of the best Russian complexes is 20 thousand eggs per hour.
The quality of products of the Chik poultry farm is monitored at all stages of production. Under the close attention of specialists: the HEALTH of the bird and the optimal conditions for its maintenance; input control of feed ingredients and a balanced diet for each age of the laying hen; careful transportation, careful culling and sorting of eggs into categories; convenient consumer packaging and incoming quality control of packaging materials; quality control of each batch of eggs ready for sale, and control of product storage modes. And the upcoming modernization of the factory will undoubtedly raise the bar for the quality of eggs from the Kochenevsky district to an even higher level.
