Belarus in 2012 increased the export of dairy products by almost 30%

Maria Klimova noted that over the past three years Belarus has maintained its position as one of the main suppliers of dairy products on the world stage. “In terms of oil exports, the share of Belarus in the world volume has reached 8%, cheese - 5-6%. In terms of butter exports, we are even displacing the supplies of EU countries to RUSSIA. They supply oils to Russia by 7% less than Belarus,” she stressed.
According to the HEAD of the department, in the world whey trade Belarus has achieved a figure of 3% over the past two years. “Out of 1.5 million tons of whey trade, 3% falls on Belarus. In 2000, this share was 0.1%,” Maria Klimova explained.
