The Argun MEAT Processing Plant signed an agreement with the Magnit hypermarket chain, according to which not only sausages, but also meat will appear on the store shelves. This was reported to the news agency "Chechnya Today" in the enterprise.
“We are talking about fresh lamb meat. For us, this is a new direction and new horizons. At the moment, we have launched a line of frozen poultry in the Chechen Republic. That is, it is cut and packaged poultry meat. We plan to do the same with lamb,” said Abu Salataev, executive DIRECTOR of the company.
Like all products of the enterprise, lamb is certified according to Halal standards.
“Our company considers its primary task not just to expand the geography of the market. It is important for us that every person, regardless of nationality and region, can try halal products. And, of course, we strive to ensure that Muslims can confidently choose a meat assortment that meets the requirements of Islam,” the company added.
Recall that earlier pork DNA was found in 32 Halal-labeled sausage products imported into the Chechen Republic.
