The Amur reference center of the Rosselkhoznadzor conducted about 1,500 studies in the veterinary and sanitary direction

The bulk of the received samples are samples of grain and products of its processing (583). They were examined for the content of genetically modified organisms, as a result of which 9 positive results were obtained. 

At the request of exporting enterprises, since the beginning of the year , 140 samples of swabs from the surface of packaging (containers) have been tested by PCR for the presence of the covid-19 pathogen - CORONAVIRUS SARS-CoV-2. No positive results were found.

Also, the department received 142 samples of food products, namely MEAT semi-finished products, including poultry processing products, sausages and animal feed of plant origin for confirmation of safety in terms of microbiological and parasitological indicators. Received 12 positive results. Of the 481 studies, 39 were conducted as part of the implementation of public works. 

In addition, the department conducted 51 studies of 15 samples of organic fertilizers for the content of pathogenic and opportunistic microorganisms, the presence of viable eggs and larvae of helminths and cysts of intestinal protozoa. 1 positive result received. 

Information about samples that do not meet the standard values ​​was transferred via the early warning system and to the ROSSELKHOZNADZOR Administration for the Amur Region and the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) for appropriate action. Product owners were given recommendations on the need to take measures to increase the level of control in production.
