Minsk . In Minsk, state traffic inspectors detained a drunk motorist, whose blood contained about 2.3 ppm of
ALCOHOL. For a gross violation of traffic rules, the driver will pay a fine of 200 basic units. BelTA was informed about this by the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Minsk City Executive Committee.
While on duty, the attention of the traffic police department of the Partizansky district of the capital was attracted by a Volkswagen car, which was driving near house No. 101 on Soltys Street. The foreign car was driven by a 30-year-old man with obvious signs
alcohol intoxication . According to the results of a medical examination, 2.266 ppm of alcohol was detected in his body. Road guards detained a drunken motorist and took him to the authority conducting the administrative process; the offender’s car was placed in a guarded parking lot. A notification letter will be sent to the Minsk resident’s place of work.
The State Traffic Inspectorate reminds that the administrative penalty for driving while intoxicated depends on the concentration of alcohol in the blood or its vapor in the exhaled air. If more than 0.8 ppm is detected, a fine of 200 basic units (1 BV - Br40) is imposed with deprivation of the right to engage in certain activities for a period of five years.
