Poletaev: antiterrorist operation in Kazakhstan continues

January 16, MINSK. The anti-terrorist operation in Kazakhstan continues, political scientist and international journalist Eduard Poletayev said on air, BelTA informs.

"Cars have appeared on the streets, public transport has started working. Shops are still working with restrictions. From 11 p.m. to 7 a.m., it's better not to drive or go out on the streets without a reason. Every hour on television they remind that the anti-terrorist operation continues. ALCOHOL is prohibited for sale. But people go to work, something happens. Of course, there are problems. The recovery will take quite a long time," said Eduard Poletaev.

Eduard Poletaev added that the state had promised to help the plundered business. “But again, there are not enough people to fix the losses. When I studied conflictology on the example of Kazakhstan, it was believed that long distances between cities would not allow creating a conflict situation in the whole country. But over time, with the development of the Internet, it turned out that the borders and distances do not really matter. It turned out that the coordination of the protest was carried out online and this was able to erase the barriers," the expert stated.
