A pensioner in the Belynichi district killed a new acquaintance with an axe during a party

9 August, MINSK . The Belynichi District Department of the Investigative Committee is investigating a criminal case of murder committed with particular cruelty. This was reported to BELTA by the Investigative Committee.

According to preliminary information from the investigation, the owner of the house was drinking in the eveningALCOHOL with a new acquaintance. it is reported that the men met that same day in a store. While drinking alcohol, a conflict arose between the acquaintances. The guest grabbed a knife, and the owner responded by taking an axe and striking his new acquaintance at least 20 times. As a result, the man died on the spot.

The neighbors reported the incident to the police, and the pensioner came to them himself and told them about what had happened. Currently, the 69-year-old resident of the Belynichi District has been charged under paragraph 6, part 2, article 139 of the Criminal Code (murder committed with particular cruelty). The defendant has no previous convictions. Relatives and neighbors describe him as a withdrawn and uncommunicative person. With the sanction of the prosecutor, a preventive measure in the form of detention was applied to him.
