May 14, Minsk. The Prosecutor General's Office sent to court a criminal case on charges of a 59-year-old man of organizing murder and robbery, BelTA informs with reference to the department of interaction with the media and editorial activities of the supervisory authority.

According to the materials of the case, the accused, not wanting to return the $30,000 borrowed from the victim, decided to kill him and seize other people's property worth at least $100,000. .

The defendant collected information for several months and developed a plan for the crime. As a result, the men, under the pretext of selling jewelry in January 2021, lured the victim to a deserted place. Beating him, including with bricks and stones, they killed him and then took away the car and things. The body was taken to the forest and buried in a previously prepared pit.

The next day they went to the victim's apartment, where they stole equipment, alcohol , money, clothes and food, among other things.

The study of the materials of the criminal case showed that the investigation was carried out comprehensively, fully and objectively.

The Prosecutor General's Office noted that there are no grounds for changing or canceling the previously chosen measure of restraint in the form of detention.
