Borisov resident killed a friend and tried to take the body out of the apartment: the investigation is completed

January 27, MINSK. The department of the Investigative Committee for the Minsk region has completed the investigation of a criminal case on the brutal murder of a man, BelTA learned from the UK.

On the afternoon of July 8, 2021, police officers in Borisov found the body of a man on the balcony of an apartment. An investigative team was immediately dispatched to the scene. During the examination, multiple traces of blood were found on the balcony and in the kitchen, a trace pattern was recorded. During the investigation of the criminal case, the circumstances of the crime were established.

On the evening of July 7 in Borisov, the deceased, a 35-year-old worker, drank ALCOHOL in the company of a 39-year-old man and the latter's cohabitant. "Alcohol was first consumed on the street, closer to the night they decided to move to the apartment of a 39-year-old local resident. During the joint drinking, the victim picked up a knife, did not commit any active actions. object from his hands and began to beat, including with a wooden leg from the table, for an hour," the investigators said.

Later, the experts established that the deceased had been inflicted more than 60 blows and suffered serious bodily injuries in the form of a combined injury to the HEAD, torso and limbs, which are in a direct causal relationship with the death of a man.

On the morning of July 8, the accused left the apartment together with his cohabitant, after which he phoned his relative and asked to find a car to take the "wardrobe" out of the apartment. When asked why, the defendant did not answer intelligibly and hung up.

The criminal actions of the man are qualified under clause 6, part 2, article 139 (murder with extreme cruelty) of the Criminal Code. Investigators interrogated the accused and witnesses, checked the testimony on the spot, studied and attached to the materials of the criminal case the conclusions of expert studies conducted by the SCSE. The man had previously appeared before the COURT several times, including for committing crimes involving the use of violence, was released from prison in September 2020, and did not work anywhere for a long time. At the time of the commission of this crime, he was in a state of alcoholic intoxication - the content of ethyl alcohol in the exhaled air was 2.96 ppm.

The case materials have been handed over to the prosecutor to be sent to court, which the accused is waiting for while in custody.
