The Vologda Regional Center of Competence in the Field of Agricultural Cooperation and Farmer Support was awarded a silver medal of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture

The competition was held by the Department of Rural Development of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture as part of the 25th Russian Agro-Industrial Exhibition “Golden Autumn - 2023”. The Regional Competence Center of the Vologda Region took second place in the category “Best center of competence in the field of agricultural cooperation and support for farmers.”
The center provides more than 26 types of services and provides assistance to:
- agricultural producers in registering in the GIIS “Electronic Budget”;
- grain producers in entering data into the federal state information system for the traceability of grain and its processed products;
- individuals to register with the tax authorities as individual entrepreneurs, peasant farms and legal entities;
- for processors in concluding an agricultural contract with the self-employed: a form of agricultural contract has been developed for the transfer of bulls for fattening, a system of interaction with veterinary services has been developed, the movement of livestock is monitored in the Mercury system;
- applicants for grant support in the development and defense of a business plan, both for participation in the state support programs “Agrostartup” and “Family Farm”, and for obtaining a loan from credit institutions.
Also here, applicants for grant support can receive a free service - pre-defense of business projects. Each participant gains experience in public speaking, learns to navigate a business plan, and trains to answer questions from committee members. To assist applicants, a developed approximate step-by-step plan for presenting the project is provided. This event is highly valued by applicants, as it allows them to feel confident and comfortable during the main defense.
“Thanks to the Competence Center in the Vologda region, more than 100 new members of agricultural consumer cooperatives have been attracted, more than 15 peasant (farm) farms are registered annually. Over the past five years alone, the Center’s specialists have provided about eight thousand consultations to agricultural producers and citizens running private farms, organized 97 seminars, round tables and exhibitions and demonstrations, held 70 information days in municipal districts and regions of the region,” said the HEAD of the Department. agriculture and food resources of the region Sergei Poromonov.
Let us remind you that the Competence Center in the field of agricultural cooperation and support for farmers has been operating on the basis of the Vologda Information and Consulting Center for the Agro-Industrial Complex since 2019. It was created in order to implement the federal project “Acceleration of Small and Medium Enterprises” within the framework of the national project “Small and Medium Enterprises and Supportindividual entrepreneurial initiative” initiated by the President. Since 2019, more than 2,000 citizens have used the services of the Central Committee. The Center’s specialists have written more than 100 business plans; with the support of the Central Committee, more than 35 agricultural producers received grants.
