In 2025 , farms in the Republic of Tatarstan purchased over 2,200 units of equipment worth approximately 10 billion rubles, enabling them to upgrade 2.5% of tractors, 3.3% of grain harvesters, and 4.5% of forage harvesters. "For 2026, we set the goal of modernizing at least 3% of tractors, 4% of grain harvesters, and 5% of forage harvesters. To achieve fleet modernization targets, we recommend utilizing all available preferential leasing programs and dealer promotions," said Marat Zyabbarov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan. The minister noted that preparing equipment for the 2026 field season is a top priority for the current period. Approximately 9,000 tractors, 3,300 combine harvesters, and 9,600 seeding and tillage machines are scheduled for repair during the repair season. Approximately 6.5 billion rubles are needed to restore the entire agricultural machinery fleet. To date, farms have purchased spare parts worth 2.2 billion rubles, which is 34% of the required volume. Marat Zyabbarov urged farm and agricultural holding managers to purchase spare parts promptly to avoid repair delays. "Dealers have the required spare parts in stock. I ask you to work closely with them and expedite requests for imported spare parts, as lead times for some items can be up to three months. Furthermore, we recommend using marketplaces to purchase the necessary spare parts, as they are also capable of meeting farms' needs," the minister added. To ensure timely completion of spring field work, tractors, tillage equipment, and seeding units must be fully repaired by March 15.
