PIONEER MEIZHENG BIO-TECH (5 in1) JC0586 - Antibiotic tests 5 in 1 / Rapid tests for determining the residual amount of β-lactams, tetracyclines and cephalexin in milk, wheyOn Saturday, February 24, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Dagestan Emin Shaikhgasanov got acquainted with the progress of wintering of cattle in the Kochubey zone of distant-pasture livestock farming. On the trip, he was accompanied by employees of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Dagestan, the Republican Department of Distant Livestock Farming and veterinary specialists.
They visited the livestock facilities of the Ordzhonikidze SPK, the Archib SPK and the Karl Marx SPK of the Charodinsky District. These are breeding farms specializing in breeding Dagestan mountain sheep. In conversations with livestock breeders, various issues were raised, including the conduct of selection and breeding work. The main attention was paid to the availability of feed for cattle and the condition of pasture, as well as preparation for lambing of sheep, which will begin here in March.
The Ordzhonikidze SPC also has plans to engage in pedigree breeding of the Kazakh white-headed cattle breed . Last year, pedigree heifers of this breed were purchased, and calving is currently underway at the farm.
Following the inspection, Emin Shaikhgasanov noted that the cattle are wintering as planned, the farms are provided with feed, and the pasture is in satisfactory condition. In his opinion, the breeding stock of sheep at these farms is in a fairly well-fed condition, which allows one to expect a successful lambing campaign.
