
Over the past year, about 120 thousand tons of agricultural products from the republic were exported to Kazakhstan , mainly SUGAR , wheat, barley, MILK powder and dairy products , emphasized the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Belarus -Minister of Agriculture Ilshat Fazrakhmanov at a meeting of the working group on the development of cooperation between the Republic of Bashkortostan of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event took place today, January 24, as part of the Kazakhstan-Bashkortostan Business Forum in Astana.
Also from Bashkortostan to Kazakhstan, supplies of kumis and Bashkir horses, broiler hatching eggs have been established.
“In order to increase the supply of hatching eggs of waterfowl to the Republic of Kazakhstan, a memorandum of cooperation was concluded in 2023 between the Bashkir agricultural enterprise Asyanovskoye and the Union of Poultry Farmers of Kazakhstan for the supply of eggs and breeding young stock with a total value of about 4 million rubles. This direction should become promising for both republics,” emphasized Ilshat Fazrakhmanov.
He also thanked his Kazakh colleagues for their assistance in certifying products according to Halal standards, noting that Bashkir enterprises are actively working with the Halal Industry Association of Kazakhstan. Today, 41 enterprises in Bashkortostan produce such products.
“This year, Bashkortostan became the first region in which a representative office of the Roskachestvo Competence Center in the field of Halal products and services was created,” said the HEAD of the regional agricultural department.
In his speech, Ilshat Fazrakhmanov also spoke about the possibilities of cooperation in the field of horse breeding, sheep breeding, production, modernization and repair of agricultural machinery.
“A promising direction is cooperation in the supply of those types of agricultural machinery, the serial production of which has been mastered by enterprises of the Republic of Bashkortostan,” he said. “These are Muromets combines, Chulpan self-propelled mowers, Amkodor-Agidel grain drying complexes and others.”
