At MSTU. Bauman called US sanctions “recognition of potential”

“The fact that we are included in the sanctions list is recognition of our scientific and technical potential and the high competitiveness of the technical solutions we are developing, as well as the high quality of personnel training for the Russian economy,” said RBC’s interlocutor.

Earlier in the day, the US Department of Commerce limited the supply of technology to the drone manufacturer ZALA Aero and ten other Russian organizations, since their actions, according to Washington, “contradict the national security or foreign policy interests” of the United States.

Russian authorities consider Western sanctions illegal. In September, Russian President Vladimir Putin said the national economy had recovered from restrictions and the country had withstood an unprecedented "onslaught of sanctions" from unfriendly countries.
