The new, tenth package of EU sanctions against RUSSIA involves the introduction of EXPORT restrictions in the amount of €11 billion. This was announced on Twitter by the HEAD of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen.

“We are weakening Russia's ability to maintain its war machine. Our tenth package of sanctions contains €11 billion worth of trade restrictions and technology export bans,” she said.

On February 9, voicing the total amount of restrictions imposed against Russia as part of a new package of sanctions, von der Leyen estimated it at €10 billion.

According to von der Leyen, Iranian drone manufacturers will also be included in the new sanctions list.
