578 traffic violations by drivers and pedestrians detected in Minsk over the weekend

July 4, MINSK. The state traffic inspectorate in Minsk revealed 578 traffic violations by drivers and pedestrians over the weekend, BelTA informs with reference to the traffic police department of the Minsk city executive committee.

Over the weekend, 99 accidents occurred in Minsk, in which one person was injured. 19 people were arrested for drunk driving. Another 81 drivers were fined for speeding. Employees of the traffic police prevented 81 facts of driving vehicles without rights. 84 drivers were brought to responsibility for violations of the rules of passage of pedestrian crossings. 214 pedestrians violated traffic rules, 30 of them were under the influence of ALCOHOL .

The State Traffic Inspectorate urges all road users to strictly comply with traffic rules and recommend remembering the safety measures on the roads.
