July 5, MINSK. The national electronic pavilion of Belarus has opened on the Chinese platform Douyin (an analogue of the popular service with short videos and live broadcasts of TIKTOK), BelTA learned from the Embassy of Belarus in China.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus Yury Senko took part in the opening ceremony of the national pavilion. The diplomat presented Belarusian products live.

In just an hour of the online broadcast, more than 1.3 million people watched the ambassador's broadcast, and the total amount of sales of Belarusian chocolate and snacks exceeded 900,000 Chinese yuan, or about $135,000.

"The range of products is constantly updated and will be replenished with dairy, confectionery and ALCOHOL products and cosmetics from Belarus in the near future," the diplomatic mission noted.
