Not only tasty food: what the festive fair prepared on July 2 and 3 in Minsk

July 1, MINSK. This coming weekend, when Belarus celebrates Independence Day, large-scale festive trade will unfold in Minsk, Elena Nagornaya, HEAD of the trade and services department of the Minsk City Executive Committee, told reporters, BelTA has learned.

"Those who are interested can visit our fair in order not only to have a tasty meal, but also to purchase some products," she said.

The head of the main department noted that three districts of Minsk - Moskovsky, Oktyabrsky and Partizansky - organize trade for two days - July 2 and 3. The main site is near the Sports Palace, where at least 35 catering outlets will operate selling various catering products (kebabs, dishes of national Belarusian cuisine, etc.).

The festive fair on July 2 will be organized here from 14.00 to 21.30, July 3 - from 10.00 to the end of events at 23.00. As with any large-scale event, the sale of alcoholic and low-alcohol drinks, beer on the main day will end one hour before the end of the event, that is, at 22.00.

More than 180 business entities will take part in the regional trading platforms. "Such sleeping areas as Moskovsky, Frunzensky attract a large number of catering establishments in order to provide full-fledged trade services. Trade will be organized at a high level. We will try to foresee all the nuances that consumers paid attention to over the past holidays, providing a sufficient number of seats ", - concluded Elena Nagornaya.
