July 1, MINSK. During the festive events dedicated to the Independence Day of Belarus, the Minsk police will carry out the service of maintaining public order in an enhanced mode, BelTA learned from the police.
Places of festive events in the city center will be fenced with turnstiles to ensure the safety of citizens. it will be possible to pass through checkpoints, where separate checkpoints will be provided for veterans of the Great Patriotic War, the disabled and pregnant women.Events will be under video surveillance.
The police reminded that during mass events it is forbidden to carry weapons, explosives, ammunition, their dummies, as well as items, the use of which may pose a threat to the life and HEALTH of citizens. Alcoholic, low-alcohol drinks, beer, and other drinks are not allowed. An exception may be non-alcoholic soft drinks in transparent plastic containers with a capacity of not more than 0.5 liters. It is forbidden to carry large items and interfere with the work of police officers.
Drunk people, as well as those carrying prohibited items, will not be allowed to places of mass events.
Minsk residents and guests of the capital are urged to exercise reasonable vigilance: suspicious people, as well as the discovery of objects and things left unattended, must be immediately reported to the internal affairs bodies.
The police ask you to treat these measures with understanding, as they are aimed at ensuring security and public order, as well as observe the rules of safe behavior.
