The St. Petersburg Interdepartmental Names Commission (Toponymic Commission) approved the application of new names to the city map. In particular, the Yaguzhinsky Square and the Cherry Orchard will soon appear in the northern capital, the press service of the Committee for Culture of St. Petersburg reports. The name of an associate of Peter the Great P. I. Yaguzhinsky (1683–1736), the first Prosecutor General in Russian history, will be given to the square at the intersection of Tverskaya Street and Kavalergardskaya Street in the Central District of the city. The Committee for Culture noted that such a name for the square was chosen on the eve of the 300th anniversary of the Russian prosecutor's office and the 350th anniversary of Peter I.

Petersburg authorities are studying Moscow's experience in refusing to attract labor migrants. This was stated by Dmitry Cherneiko, Chairman of the Committee on Labor and Employment of the Population of St. Petersburg. According to him, during the pandemic, the salary expectations of foreigners have grown and it is no longer possible to save money on attracting workers from abroad.

The rationale for the FAS decision has not yet been formulated, but, apparently, the agency agreed with the arguments of the VEO. Spetstrans intends to challenge the FAS decision in COURT. According to experts, although the market has been redistributed, they do not see any particular threats to its functioning.

Petersburg fitness left without discounts and delays

In St. Petersburg, 75% of fitness clubs could not agree with the owners of the premises on rental discounts. The situation in the city turned out to be much worse than in the whole country, RBC Petersburg was told in the Association of Fitness Industry Operators (AOFI). In Russia, 60% of fitness clubs experience difficulties with reducing rental payments or providing installments.
