Several recruiting companies in Tyumen have announced that they will no longer accept job applicants who do not have a full covid-19 vaccination certificate . For example, for workers in the oil industry, a document was previously optional, and they were required to present a negative PCR test, as well as serve 14 days in an observatory. Now, in order to go to work, this is no longer enough.
“At once, several of our business partners from the oil sector announced that they would not coordinate the profiles of unvaccinated applicants. Whether they will be accepted in other regions is not yet clear, but a similar trend is now observed throughout the country. I think that now all employers will start to act in a similar way, because just this week several organizations have suspended the admission of candidates without a vaccination certificate. Moreover, it does not matter how qualified the applicant is. Now the vaccine is the main item on the resume, ”said Tatyana Badanova, HEAD of the Forward Company HR agency, to RBC Tyumen.
The head of the Dream Work recruiting agency, Victoria Yusupova, confirmed that such a requirement does exist, but so far it mostly applies to workers in the oil industry.
“I know that everyone is obligated in the oil sector, but none of our employers has yet demanded mandatory vaccination. Indirectly, I heard that some companies require employees to be vaccinated. Specifically, we have never encountered this before, but I do not exclude that this may happen in the near future. Our company works with retail, wholesale production and construction companies. We have not yet come across candidates' assessments on the basis of "vaccinated", "unvaccinated"," Victoria Yusupova told RBC Tyumen.
Earlier, the governor of the Tyumen region signed a decree on the introduction of mandatory vaccination for certain groups of people. Those who fail to pass will not be allowed to work.
