According to him, the “long COVID” is characterized by cognitive dysfunction, forgetfulness, fatigue, irritability, the appearance of panic attacks, including among young people, for whom this is not the most common problem. Patients noted such symptoms after they had the virus and were discharged from Kommunarka, Protsenko noted. He believes that the issue of “long COVID-19” globally will still arise among those who have been ill.
