Half of Russians are ready to share data about themselves anonymously and for money

46% of citizens agreed to share information about themselves with companies for a fee or under conditions of anonymity. 37% of respondents are ready to provide data to improve consumer experience

Almost half of Russians are ready to share their personal data with companies on the terms of their anonymization or for a fee. This is evidenced by the results of the Ipsos study (RBC has it).

46% of citizens reported that they can share their personal data anonymously or for money. To improve consumer experience - better personalization of products and services - 37% of respondents are ready to do this. Another 27% of respondents said that they can provide information about themselves to their favorite brands.

Moreover, millennials and zoomers are more willing to share personal data. Elderly people, on the contrary, prefer not to disclose this information to a greater extent.

Two-thirds of Russians worry about companies using their personal data. People under 40 years of age - to a lesser extent, and citizens of middle age from old age - to a greater extent. Another 67% of respondents admitted that they do not know what kind of information about them is at the disposal of companies.
