Due to the worsening epidemiological situation in the Perm Territory and the increase in the incidence of covid, the load on the ambulance service has increased significantly. In June, ambulance teams responded to calls 37 thousand times, and in July - 42.9 thousand times.
A large proportion of calls were transferred to emergency care at polyclinics. According to the Perm ambulance station, their number has increased by more than 3 times compared to the previous two months. In May - 3.2 thousand, in June - almost 4.5 thousand, in July - almost 12 thousand calls.
Some of the emergency calls were handled by ambulance crews. They also became much more than in May and June. In May - 389, in June - 473, in July - 1036.
The number of visits to patients with symptoms of covid-19 , including concomitant pneumonia, increased several times - 6195 (in May - 1449, in June - 2833). Of these, 3730 calls ended in hospitalization (in May - 1058, in June - 1779). Patients with pneumonia went 3366 times (in June - 1867). Of these, 2149 patients were hospitalized (in June - 1061).
The average waiting time for emergency calls was 19 minutes. Time of arrival at the scene of the accident - 13 minutes.
