Because of the strain "omicron" in Tyumen imposed restrictions on arrivals from Egypt

In the Tyumen region, additional restrictions have been introduced for tourists arriving from abroad. Now, upon arrival, they will need to undergo PCR testing and self-isolate until the results are received. New measures introduced in connection with the emergence of a new strain of COVID-19 "omicron". Corresponding changes were made to the decree of the government of the Tyumen region No. 120-p. 

“Citizens, including members of aircraft crews, arriving from Egypt, South Africa and other African countries, as well as from Hong Kong, must undergo a laboratory test for COVID-19 upon arrival at Roschino and Remezov airports. Until they receive the results of a laboratory test for COVID-19 by PCR, they are ordered to observe the isolation regime at their place of residence or stay, ”the information center of the regional government reports.

According to RBC Tyumen tour operators, at the end of the year Egypt became the most popular destination for Tyumen residents. 

Recently, the governor of the region announced the weakening of the QR codes. Now Tyumen residents will be able to go to most places without presenting a QR code. However, this can only be done at certain times. At the same time, for a number of areas, the transition to the QR code system was postponed from December 3 to December 24.
