Over the past week, the level of herd immunity in RUSSIA has not changed and remained at the level of 64.4%, follows from the message of the federal operational headquarters. At the same time, in a number of regions of the country, the indicator has noticeably decreased, Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova told reporters.
“The largest decline is observed in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug, the Chechen Republic, Moscow, as well as in the Moscow, Ivanovo and Kostroma regions,” she said (quoted by TASS).
According to Golikova, in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug, the level of herd immunity fell by 3.6 percentage points. — from 68.4 to 64.8%, in Chechnya — by 2.8 p.p. (from 62.6 to 59.8%), in Moscow — by 1.8 p.p. (from 66.6 to 64.8%), in the Moscow region - by 1.4 p.p. (from 75.8 to 74.4%), in the Ivanovo and Kostroma regions - by 0.9 p.p. (from 49.5 to 48.6% and from 71.6 to 70.7%, respectively).
Golikova explained the decrease in the level of collective immunity by the gradual disappearance of antibodies of those who were vaccinated or had been ill more than six months ago.
