The authorities of two more Russian regions - Murmansk and Nizhny Novgorod regions - announced mandatory vaccination against CORONAVIRUS for certain categories of citizens.
In the Murmansk region , it will affect employees in the areas of catering, trade, transport, employees of theaters and museums, schools and universities, as well as officials, said the HEAD of the region Andrey Chibis. “I once again recommend that these categories be vaccinated now and not wait for a separate decision,” he said.
Mandatory vaccination was also introduced in the Nizhny Novgorod region . The corresponding decree was signed by the chief sanitary DOCTOR of the region. 60% of employees of trade and catering enterprises, theaters, beauty salons, fitness clubs, public transport, education and healthcare, housing and communal services, energy and a number of other industries should be vaccinated. The head of the Kirov region , Igor Vasiliev , also spoke for an increase in the rate of vaccination . “We continue to assume that vaccination is a personal matter for everyone and everyone makes their own decision. But the situation is getting worse every day and is no longer stable,” he said in a video message on Instagram.
In connection with the worsening epidemiological situation, the governor turned to the heads of enterprises, "especially those industries that constantly work with people," with a request "to conduct explanatory conversations in their teams about the need for vaccination." According to him, it is necessary that at least 60% of the population in the region be vaccinated.
Since July 15, the authorities of the Ivanovo region have obliged enterprises in the fields of trade, catering and passenger transport to test employees for coronavirus every four days. The same rule will apply to organizations in which less than 60% of employees have been vaccinated or have antibodies. Employees with documents confirming vaccination or the presence of antibodies will not be tested.
The regions began to introduce mandatory vaccination against the backdrop of an increase in the incidence of covid-19 in RUSSIA. Mandatory vaccination for certain categories of citizens, in particular, was introduced in Moscow and the Moscow region, St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region, in the Kemerovo and Sakhalin regions, as well as in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
