“The situation with the isolation in Cuba of about 150 Russian tourists caused a wide resonance and has already received a response from tourists who are just planning their holidays in the country. Some tour operators record cancellations of tours, and travel agents offer tourists alternative destinations.

In particular, the Intourist company reported that on July 5, a sharp jump in the number of cancellations was recorded. “We know that agents discourage tourists from purchasing tours to Cuba by offering them alternative destinations, such as Mexico,” the company explained.
